The MBA Program of the Department of Management, University of North Bengal uses a mix of various instructional methods to make learning effective. These include classroom lectures, case studies enabled classes, Class tests / Class Activities, Industry based workshops / Academic seminars, Class presentations, business-games / role-plays, individual / group assignments & entrepreneurship projects, industry visits etc. The curriculum and its delivery emphasize innovative problem-solving, shared perspectives, application of concepts, and teamwork. The pedagogy encourages students to develop an ability to work effectively in groups, and yet present and defend their individual perspectives. Students are encouraged to develop decision-making ability based on contextual analysis, and the case method of learning is widely used.
